Energia Ireland’s largest independent energy supply has now 35 000 customers in Ireland and are signing new customers at the rate of 1000 a month.
Our range of products suits all from the smaller SME to the industrial giants.
Our power station at Huntstown completed its second phase of 400MW in the autumn enabling it to supply 744MW of power into the Irish grid. This represents about 20% of the total demand.
Energia has entered into long-term contracts with developers that will underpin the construction of 15 new wind farms in Ireland between 2007- 2009, with an estimated contract value of €550m bringing its renewable portfolio to 210MW. Several other projects are also in the pipeline which will almost double the renewable commitment.
