Products
Traditionally in Ireland customers did not have a choice of gas supplier, a choice
of the gas product or control of the price they paid. Customers just did not have
control of their gas costs.
The Energia product offering has changed this. In order to have the ability to procure
gas at the most efficient cost a customer needs be given the tools and the flexibility
which will enable them to take real control over how and when they procure their
gas, and a business partner to assist.
Customers now have the choice of products:
- Totally fixed cost
- Totally variable cost (floating)
- Mixed fixed and floating cost
Energia’s product offering means if a customer decides to fix the price for a certain
volume of its gas needs, then at a time and market price that suits the customer,
it can choose to fix the price for an entire season, or a particular quarter, or
a month or multiple months, or even a portion of a month. Any volumes that the customer
decides not to fix the price for will be priced at market related prices.
